Short answer: Backyarder doesn't collect any data.
This privacy policy applies only to the Backyarder app. If you use our other product, Flockstar, please refer to the Flockstar Privacy Policy.
Backyarder does not collect any personal information, usage data, analytics, or telemetry. The app has no servers, no databases, and no way to transmit what you do in the app.
All your data in Backyarder - your chickens, eggs, expenses, photos, everything - is stored locally on your device only. It never leaves your phone unless you choose to export it yourself.
Backyarder doesn't require you to create an account, sign in, or provide an email address. The app works entirely offline.
When you use the backup feature, Backyarder creates a file on your device that you can share however you like - email it to yourself, save it to your files, etc. This data is never sent to us.
Backyarder does not include any third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising services.
When you purchase Backyarder through the App Store or Google Play, Apple or Google handle the transaction. We receive confirmation that the purchase was made but do not receive your payment information or personal details.
Since Backyarder doesn't collect any data, there are no children's privacy concerns specific to this app.
If this policy changes, we'll update this page with a new date.
