I'm Brian, a professional software developer with over 20 years of experience. Flockstar started as a personal project when I got my first chickens and wanted something better than the whiteboard we were using to track eggs.

What I didn't expect was how the app would grow - and how much I'd learn from the breeders, farm operators, and serious poultry keepers who started using it. Their needs have shaped Flockstar into something far more sophisticated than I originally imagined.
